Hello Glendale High School Families,
I want to thank each and every one of you for sharing your student with us this year, and for allowing us to have a chance to impact their life in a positive way. This blog will serve as a tool to communicate important information to Glendale families. This is not all-inclusive, so please check out social media and the school website for information.

- The prom is on April 29th at the Old Glass House from 8:30-11:00 PM. Tickets will be on sale in the coming weeks.
- Senior Sunrise will be Wednesday, May 11th starting at 7:15 AM on the Football Field.
- The Senior Recognition and Memories assembly will be on Wednesday, May 11th. Look for more information to come.
- Finals for seniors will be given on May 9th-May 11th. Seniors must take their final if they do not have an A or A- in the class.
- Commencement Practice will follow the Memories Assembly and take place in the main gym. Seniors must be present if they are participating in the commencement ceremony.
- The Commencement Ceremony is Thursday, May 12th at 9:00 p.m. at the JQH Arena on the campus of MSU. Family members and guests must enter the main entrance to JQH Arena. The doors to JQH Arena will open approximately 45 minutes prior to the beginning of our commencement ceremony. Seniors should arrive at Hammons Student Center at 8:00 PM. There is no restriction on attendance for the 2022 Commencement Ceremony. Look for more information to come.
- Project Graduation is Thursday, May 12th at 10:40 p.m. Tickets will be on sale in the coming weeks in the financial office. Students will meet at Glendale in the south parking lot and ride a bus to the Chesterfield Family Center. Students must ride the bus to attend. Students will return to Glendale at approximately 4:10 a.m.
- Log into HAC
- Select the Classes tab
- Ensure 4 is entered in the View Classwork for Report Card Run field
- Click Full View on the upper-right-hand side
- Scroll down to any course
- You should now see a button at the bottom-left of the course that says Show All Averages
- Click the button that says Show All Averages
- A pop-up box will appear (be sure to turn the pop-up blocker off)
- The FSEM number is what the current semester grade is for the student
GHS PTSA DISCOUNT CARDS are HERE! Glendale PTSA is selling discount cards as part of our MAIN fundraiser to meet special classroom needs for our wonderful teachers and students! Some examples of items we've been able to provide in the past are books for English classes, goggles for science classes and seating for Special Education students. The discount cards are only $10 each or Buy 5, GET ONE FREE and all offers are good for a WHOLE YEAR. Cash, check, credit card and PayPal are accepted. Please check your student's grades for seated courses in eSchool. We will continue to post student grades in eSchool. It is vital that students start strong. Please check your student's grades online, and communicate with your student's teachers. Our goal is that all students are academically successful, please encourage your student to submit all assignments.
For clarification, the report used to determine who receives these calls runs at 4:30 a.m.
the day you receive the call. It is possible teachers update grades during the course of the
day. Again, please check eSchool on a regular basis and direct questions to the teacher(s).
Academies Information
Glendale High School is in the fourth year of College and Career Academies. Three years ago we implemented the Freshman Academy Model. This year, the Freshman Academy work continues, and our sophomore, junior, and senior students are engaged in an Upper Academy. Glendale has three Academies, STEM Academy, Business and Law Academy, and Technology and Design Academy.
