Hello Glendale High School Families,
I want to thank each and every one of you for sharing your student with us this year, and for allowing us to have a chance to impact their life in a positive way. This blog will serve as a tool to communicate important information to Glendale families. This is not all-inclusive, so please check out social media and the school website for information.
Glendale High School Mission and VisionMission: To inspire personally-driven, community-focused, and globally connected learners.
Vision: Learners refine their unique abilities to positively impact our world.
For Seniors – these are the portraits that will be included in the yearbook. The photographers will bring suit jackets, shirts, ties, and black drapes. Please dress for easy apparel change – white t-shirts for those people choosing suit and tie, tank or camisole with spaghetti straps for those people choosing to wear the drapes.
Students who have online classes, or who must leave to go to another building for part of the day, can come to the auditorium as they can fit into their schedule.
Service learning aims to connect high school volunteers with local nonprofits to meet the needs of our community and other communities in crisis. Because volunteers are an invaluable part of our community we aim to engage our community members with good causes to bring about positive change.
If your son or daughter is already volunteering or if they’d like
to start--
there will be a brief informational meeting about Service Learning Thursday, September 1st at 3:15 in room 324 with Mrs. Dinamarca. If they can’t attend the meeting please come by before or after school to pick up forms.
