The Alliance for Healthcare Education is a new program starting Fall 2024 in partnership with Ozarks Technical Community College, Missouri State University, and CoxHealth.
Through the Alliance, Springfield Public Schools students can participate in health education programs offered by OTC, earning early access to the industry and professional opportunities.
Students will spend their full day on the OTC campus engaged in health science classroom work, practical labs, and industry job shadowing experiences. Students will choose one of three pathways: earn Associated of Arts with credit toward a Bioclinical Science degree, earn certification as an Emergency Medical Technician, or earn certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
All three pathways allow students to earn both high school and college credits. This is a two-year program during junior and senior year.

Senior Sendoff (Formerly Project Graduation)
The Senior Send Off is Saturday, May 18th
from 2:30 to 4:30 pm at Glendale High School. It will be a carnival theme
afternoon of games, snacks and prizes!
This year we are excited to announce a new endeavor at GHS! Senior Sendoff is a two-hour celebration for the graduating class of 2024 that will take place on May 18 from 2:30-4:30pm here at GHS. After much deliberation by the district, it was determined that it is time to form a new tradition, and this will take the place of project graduation. During this two-hour celebration Seniors can expect the opportunity to play games, take pictures, win prizes, eat food, and maybe...just maybe there might be a dunk tank involved. Most importantly, this event will provide a final chance for our seniors to say goodbye to each other and GHS. Help us create a lasting memory for them by getting involved.
The planning committee is gearing up! If
you would like to volunteer or be included in the planning emails, please email
glendaleprojectgrad2024@gmail.com.
